LAST MILE DELIVERIES
We deliver Heavy & Bulky packages from the Amazon TTN2 warehouse to homes in our local communities in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Our associates arrive on time at 8:30am each morning, 7 days/ week.
Our 2 person routes include both a DOT Driver and a Helper in a new 16′ Isuzu NRR box truck. The associates on the 2 person routes move Heavy packages up to 300 lbs, including ping pong tables, generators and treadmills.
We also deliver packages that are 50-70lbs on a single driver route in a Custom Delivery Van. Packages typically include mattresses, book cases and smaller televisions.
With an average of 55 stops per route (per day), our 2 person route teams will also make scheduled deliveries of high value items inside customer homes. Our delivery teams are one of the only places where Amazon meets customers face to face.
The best part of the job? Working with the team, seeing something new each day, and enjoying an outdoor working environment.
The tough part? These boxes are HEAVY! Customer Service is important, as you will be invited into Customer homes for room of choice and unpack services, for items like large 85″ televisions. We also ONLY hire drivers and helpers whom we trust to complete their routes on time, safely. For most of the day, our team operates without direct supervision.
MIDDLE MILE / FREIGHT DELIVERIES
Our Overnight drivers represent our most independent employees. Our team arrives at EWR5 in Avenal, NJ around 1 AM (depending on the specific start times for each route), and each driver delivers freight including pallets and non-consolidated boxes to US Post Offices in NY, NJ, PA and CT under the DOT Short Haul exemption. Drivers are responsible for managing their loads and the safe conduct of their deliveries through the day.
Each Driver is responsible for the safety of the truck, the community and also to ensure we are compliant with all DOT regulations. Pre-Trip and Post-Trip inspections and vehicle integrity are particularly important.
