STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES

Welcome to Archer Delivery. We are Safe, Professional and Courteous.

Archer Delivery Middle Mile Standard Work statement of understanding

Termination from employment will result from the following actions (but not limited to):
DOT Compliance violations
 Failure to wear a seatbelt
 Failure to conduct a proper pre-trip inspection (5 minutes in length – EVERY TIME)
 Driving a vehicle that is not able to pass a RSI due to a gap in the pre-trip inspection
 Failure to comply with DOT or other Law Enforcement officer instructions that results in a RSI failure
 Failure to stop at an inspection station (an active weigh station)
 Failure to obey traffic laws or traffic control devices

Violations of Company Policy
 Failure to report any interaction with Law Enforcement within 30 minutes, including RSI issues or violations
 Violations of the company policy as stated in our SOP, based on our establish point system
Incurring Damage
 Disregard to vehicle safety, including damage to other vehicles or property, where the DA is at fault
 Damage or distress to any member of the community
Driver conduct
 Arriving to work, or working, under the influence of drugs, alcohol, marijuana, or in any impaired physical or mental state
 Carrying drugs, alcohol, marijuana, or paraphernalia in a company vehicle at any time
 Inability to manage driver fatigue
 Using a handheld device or mobile phone while driving

Archer Delivery Best practices:
· Arrive on time to manage your route, with an on time arrival to route origin
· Add accurate reason codes to your trip
· Plan your breaks for the beginning of the Bobtail run (bathroom and coffee breaks are always approved)
· Notify Dispatch of any issues
· NEVER drive drowsy, pull over if necessary and message the Dispatcher
· Conduct an honest post-trip inspection
· Keep your vehicle clean and stay DOT compliant

PROCESS
 Log in to ADP, then Relay, then report leaving the parking lot on Whats App – Every Shift
 Plan to arrive at your pickup warehouse (EWR5 or others) 30 min prior to your check in time. Arriving less than 20 min prior may result in a loss of route
 Call outs: Arriving late or failing to arrive will result in a one week suspension from the schedule . A second occurrence will result in a performance review and possible dismissal for violation of company policy
 Call outs: All schedule changes must be received more than 8 hours prior to the scheduled arrival time for your route.
 ADP: Sign in on the ADP time clock (use the mobile app at Woodbridge) when you arrive for work.
 Relay: Perform a pre-trip inspection before each trip. Check for all DOT issues
 Relay app: Sign in to the Relay app to start your route. Remain logged into Relay for the duration of your work day
 End of trip: Conduct post trip on Relay, log out of Relay, Sign out of ADP. Clean your truck cab and ensure it’s ready for the next driver
 Pallet jacks and pallets shall be secured by load straps
 Time theft, extended breaks, sleeping or drug use will result in dismissal. If you are fatigued and need to nap, contact your dispatcher and log out of ADP until you’re ready to return to work

HR Write-up point system
Late arrivals receive a 1 point write up. An accumulation of 8 points results in termination.
Call out within 24 hours: 4 point write-up
No call / No show: 7 point write-up
DOT violations result in termination

 Safety First – Always. Lift packages safely, drive safely. Take care walking around traffic
 Report all damage to trucks as soon as you suspect damage occurs. Truck damage and accidents are not tolerated, do not drive where you can’t safely maneuver the truck. Call your dispatcher if in doubt
 Drivers are required to conduct a Pre and Post-Trip inspection, using the approved application. Use the App during the inspection at the truck, and perform a full walk around, with specific attention to lights and wheels. Report all issues
 Wear your seatbelt. Failure to wear a seatbelt in a Road Side Inspection (RSI) results in Tier 1 defect from Amazon (dismissal)
 NEVER drive in through exit gate at an Amazon Warehouse, unless directed by a member of the TOM team

COURTESY
 Treat packages with the respect you would appreciate if it was your order (our customers are always watching)
 In case of an Emergency: Get safe and stay safe, Call 911 if necessary, Call dispatch, Call LMET if necessary

 Difficult customer?
o Remain polite and stay safe.
o If a customer is very difficult, reject the delivery and return the order to the warehouse.
 Crime – in case of crime, get to a safe location and call 911. Do not attempt to confront criminals or defend your load

Paid Time Off
Paid Time Off is a benefit. PTO must be requested one week in advance. PTO is not authorized during Peak times from Nov 15- Dec 31. PTO must be requested through the ADP app.


Time card errors
Employees are responsible for entering their time and time out accurately on the ADP punch clock. Fraud will not be tolerated and is considered theft (with immediate dismissal and criminal consequences).
If you miss punches, you are required to submit a missed punch form. You will be paid on the following payday. (Please note that our pay is weekly, while most companies pay every two weeks.)
